We are a neighbourhood pizzeria inspired by the best pizzerias of Naples and New York.

The style of cooking at Bosco is simple, seasonal and ingredient lead, with weekly imports from Italian markets.

All candidates must be enthusiastic, well presented with a passion and understanding of the industry.

We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our team. If you are excited by, and have experience in working in a faced paced, busy environment, with fresh produce prepared to a high standard then please continue.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is currently fulfilling a Junior Sous Chef role currently, or someone who is ready to take the next step forward in their career. Experience is a must, we love to nurture and train at Bosco, but at least 3 years experience in a full time, Chef de Partie position, will be required.

We hope to find the perfect Junior Sous Chef to help convey our passion for fresh, seasonal & stunning Italian produce and cookery, as well as someone who is dedicate to training, developing and inspiring young chefs and enthusing a whole restaurant with passion for what we do.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Joint operational control over the day to day running of the kitchen when running shift
Ensuring every dish that leaves the pass is cooked & presented to the highest standards
Training all members of your team to develop them to be the best chefs they can be
To ensure work area is kept to a safe and hygienic state at all times
To ensure all kitchen opening and closedown procedures are adhered to
To monitor stock movement to ensure stock security
To ensure minimum kitchen wastage

What we require:

Previous experience as a Junior sous chef or at least 3 years at chef de partie level
A positive attitude and the ability to transmit this to inspire and train your team
The ability to calmly and cooly run busy services in an open kitchen
An attention to detail to allow you to produce the best food you can

Pay: £12.70-£18.50 per hour
