Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Baker, bakery Assistant or confectioner to join our team in a busy bakery environment. The ideal candidate will support daily bakery operations by assisting with food production, preparation, and baking processes. Duties

Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling baked goods according to recipes and specifications
Support the baking process by operating ovens, mixers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and baking equipment in compliance with food safety standards
Help with packaging baked products for sale or delivery, ensuring presentation meets company standards
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary
Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Support the team during busy periods by assisting with additional food preparation tasks as needed

Experience

Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments is preferable
Knowledge of culinary practices, baking techniques, and food safety regulations is advantageous
Experience working in a bakery or bakery setting will be considered beneficial
A genuine interest in baking and culinary arts is highly valued
Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a food environment is preferred
