Job Summary

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Barista to join our busy café in Menai Bridge. This role suits someone confident working independently in a fast-paced environment, covering both front of house and light kitchen duties. You’ll be the face of the café, offering a warm welcome to our local community and visiting tourists alike, while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold drinks, including coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
Confidently manage the café solo during shifts, covering front of house and kitchen tasks.
Provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for locals and tourists.
Prepare and serve light food items, following all food hygiene and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all areas of the café.
Accurately take orders, handle cash, and operate the till.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth and efficient service.

About You

Flexible with working hours, including busy periods.
Comfortable working alone in a busy café environment.
Holds a valid Food Hygiene Certificate (essential).
Friendly, approachable, and confident engaging with customers.
Previous barista or café experience preferred but not essential — training can be provided.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
A genuine passion for coffee, food, and great customer service.
