Glamorgan Brewing Co is an award-winning, family-owned brewery based in South Wales. Established in 1994 and now spanning three generations, we are passionate about brewing great beer and proudly championing Welsh hospitality.

As we continue to invest in our brands and develop exciting new products, we are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Content & Social Media Intern to join us over the summer.

This is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience within the food and drink industry, working directly alongside the Managing Director and wider team to help tell the story of Glamorgan Brewing Co.

The Role

We're looking for someone with a passion for photography, videography, social media and storytelling. You'll help bring our brewery, people, products and customers to life across our digital channels.

No two days will be the same. One day you could be filming in the brewery, the next visiting pubs, capturing a product launch, or creating content for a new beer release.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation
Capture engaging photo and video content across the brewery, warehouse and trade visits.
Produce creative content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
Create short-form video content including Reels, Stories and behind-the-scenes footage.
Help maintain a consistent visual style and tone of voice across all channels.
Assist in building and maintaining a library of photography and video assets.
Support the creation of content for new product launches, seasonal beers and events.
Social Media
Assist with the day-to-day management of Glamorgan Brewing Co's social media channels.
Schedule and publish engaging content.
Monitor trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages.
Help analyse social media performance and provide insights into content effectiveness.
Brand & Marketing Support
Attend brewery events, customer activations and trade shows to capture live content.
Visit pubs, bars and retail customers to showcase where our beers are enjoyed.
Support wider marketing initiatives, including presentation deck creation, product launches and promotional campaigns.
Work with colleagues across the business to uncover and tell authentic stories from around the brewery.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, Communications, Photography, Journalism or a related subject.
Passionate about social media and digital storytelling.
Creative, proactive and full of ideas.
Comfortable capturing both photography and video content.
Organised and able to manage multiple projects.
Confident communicating with people and working as part of a team.
Interested in food, drink, hospitality or the brewing industry.

Desirable Skills

Experience creating content for social media platforms.
Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent editing software.
Knowledge of Meta Business Suite or social scheduling tools.
Basic photography and video editing experience.
Full UK driving licence.
