We are a high quality Nursing Home, committed to delivering an exceptional standard of nutrition and a restaurant-style dining experience for our residents.

Our focus is on fresh ingredients, homemade food, beautiful presentation and personalised dietary care.

We have two posts available for passionate Chefs in our team

Part time 12 hours with some extra shifts as needed (rate to be discussed)

Full time 36 hours (rate to be discussed)

We pride ourselves on creating meals that are both nutritionally tailored and visually outstanding; supporting our goal of supporting an excellent quality of life for each resident.

We are not a traditional care home kitchen!

The right Chef will be able to deliver the highest quality, home cooked meals and snacks with excellent presentation.

Key responsibilities

Plan and prepare nutritious. fresh, homemade meals and snacks each day
Deliver restaurant quality presentation on all dishes
Cater for specialist diets such as IDDSI compliant textures, diabetic friendly options and any allergies or sensitivities
Be able to adapt meals and options bases on the needs of residents and their preferences
Work collaboratively with the Care and Nursing Teams

Who we are looking for

A Chef with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in professional cookery
A strong background and proven experience in a professional kitchen
A Chef with the ability to prepare meals that are made from scratch
A proven knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Excellent organisational skills
A Chef with with a passion for nutritious meals and an eye for detail
A Chef that is able to deliver a high end dining experience
