Kitchen Porter / Cleaner – Hiraeth, Cardiff

Hiraeth is an intimate, ambitious taster menu restaurant in Cardiff, focused on delivering exceptional food and hospitality at the highest level. Every detail matters to us — from the guest experience to the way our kitchen operates behind the scenes.

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter / Cleaner to join our small, dedicated team.

The Role

A typical day will include:

Carrying out daily cleaning of the restaurant, including all front of house areas, to a high standard
Preparing the restaurant for service, ensuring all customer-facing areas are clean, organised, and presentable
Maintaining exceptional cleanliness across the kitchen, including deep cleans
Keeping the pot wash section organised, efficient, and running smoothly
Supporting chefs with clean-as-you-go practices during service
Assisting with basic food preparation when required

This role is vital to the success of our kitchen. A strong Kitchen Porter keeps the whole team moving and helps maintain the standards we are known for.
