About the role

We are currently looking for staff to join our Howards restaurant team.
At Howards we believe that teamwork is the key to success, so we operate our restaurant on a rotation basis, this means that the role is always varied and interesting.
One day you might be out front meeting customers and waiting on tables, the next you could be on the till serving hot drinks and cakes, another day might be spent supporting prep in the kitchen or washing up in the pot wash.

About Howards

Howards 200 seat restaurant is part of the busy Coed Y Dinas Garden Centre, situated in picturesque mid Wales.
Howards is not your typical chain garden centre restaurant, we pride ourselves on the quality of the food (most of which is cooked from scratch in house), our honest pricing and delivering great customer service.

We operate sociable hours, and currently open between 8.30 and 5.30 Monday to Saturday and 9.30 until 4.00 on Sundays.

About you

Maybe you’re experienced in the catering industry and looking for a new challenge, more sociable hours, and a change of scenery?

Maybe you’re just starting out and looking for an opportunity to learn and develop your catering skills.

The most important things to us are that you’re a team player, are friendly and outgoing, are adaptable, keen to learn and happy to muck in alongside the rest of the team.

Ideally you would already hold Level 2 in Food Safety although we can also support you to attain it after commencement of the role.

Excellent rate of pay dependent on age and experience. Full training given.

£9.93 per hour for over 17
£8.87 per hour for over 16
