Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Breakfast Chef / Chef de Partie to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality breakfast dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Ensuring smooth operation and timely delivery of meals
Manage food production, including portion control, plating, and quality assurance
Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with health regulations
Assist in menu planning and development for breakfast offerings
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold high standards of culinary excellence and teamwork
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment at all times

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hotel kitchen, ideally specialising in breakfast or brunch service
Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership capabilities and team management skills
Strong background in food production, cooking techniques, and food presentation
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a professional kitchen setting
Experience with menu development and ingredient sourcing is advantageous
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Previous hospitality experience including serving guests is beneficial but not essential
