Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of food preparation.
Take orders accurately from customers, process payments efficiently, and provide friendly service throughout the customer experience.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as required.
Manage multiple tasks effectively by prioritising orders during busy periods using good time management skills.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
Engage with customers in a courteous manner, offering recommendations and answering queries about menu items.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Basic mathematical skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Experience with serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous.
Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously without compromising quality.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential to create positive interactions with customers.
