Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Kitchen Assistant to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas throughout shifts.
Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and providing friendly assistance.
Follow food safety protocols at all times, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Manage cash register operations, including basic maths for transactions and giving correct change.
Support the team during busy periods by multitasking effectively and prioritising tasks.
Ensure prompt delivery of orders to minimise wait times and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
Ability to assist with food preparation efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
Good organisational skills to keep work areas clean and well-stocked.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: £12.21-£12.30 per hour
