Key Duties:

Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:

Assist with the preparation and service of food in a busy catering environment.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely, efficient service.
Follow all HACCP and food safety procedures at all times.
Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, housekeeping and organisation.
Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Operate the dishwasher and manage recycling and waste while maintaining high hygiene standards.
Prioritise workload to support smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

This is a hands-on role and flexibility is essential, as duties may vary depending on service needs.

Requirements:

Enthusiastic, positive and reliable with a genuine interest in food.
Keen to learn and develop kitchen skills.
Able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills with colleagues, management and customers.
High standards of personal hygiene and presentation in line with Food Hygiene Regulations.
Willingness to work weekends and most bank holidays on a rota basis.

Previous kitchen experience is welcomed, but not essential for the right candidate – full training will be provided.
