We are looking for a chef to join our team!

Applicants must be willing to run a kitchen single handed and confidently, whilst maintaining our high food standard. A minimum of 4 years experience is preferred, as is the ability to work in a busy environment.
Controlling and directing the food preparation process.
Approving dishes before they reach the customer.
Managing and working closely with other kitchen and front of house staff.
Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality.
Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.
Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
Being responsible for health and safety.
Being responsible for food hygiene practices
To land a job as a chef you will need:
Level 1, 2 or 3 Food Safety Awards
Minimum 4 years relevant experience
Experience of kitchen equipment
Competent level of English spoken and written
All candidates should possess:
Excellent knowledge of all sections
Ability to produce high-quality food
Good oral communication
Team management skills
High level of attention to detail

This job will consist of roughly 40 hours Monday to Saturday with the possibility of early finishes and an extra day off in the week, dependent of personal preference. Holidays are standard 28 days per year including bank holidays and the candidate must reserve at least a week for our Christmas shutdown (usually 9 days)

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
