Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or restaurant settings is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards. Duties

Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
Take orders accurately and handle transactions using the POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service areas, including tables, counters, and kitchen stations
Support the team during events or catering functions, ensuring smooth operation
Restock supplies and ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
Assist with barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages

Skills

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards
Experience working in a restaurant or similar environment is advantageous
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
