Job Summary
We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while supervising kitchen staff and managing daily operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu design and presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant's schedule.
