About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Butcher aged 16–18 to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you will learn traditional butchery skills alongside modern retail practices.

No experience is needed – just the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation and presentation of high-quality meat products
Learning core butchery skills including cutting, trimming, and portioning
Serving customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable service
Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
Supporting with stock control, deliveries, and shop organisation
Helping keep the shop clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times

What We’re Looking For

Aged 16–18 and eligible for an apprenticeship
Hardworking, reliable, and punctual
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Good communication and people skills
Ability to work as part of a team
A genuine interest in food, retail, or butchery

Working Hours

40 hours per week
