Overview

Person wanted to join our small friendly team. Must be 18 years or over to serve alcohol. Short shifts of 4/5 hours so must live locally. Must be able to work weekends and some shifts over the Christmas/New Year holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders promptly.
Serve drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Upsell beverages and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the beverage service area and kitchen.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of orders.
Handle guest inquiries and provide assistance as required, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
Perform basic maths calculations for order totals and processing payments accurately.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive rapport with guests.
Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions accurately.
A team player who can work collaboratively in a busy environment.
