Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation
Develop innovative menus in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Oversee food production, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
Manage food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock levels and oversee inventory control
Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and professional development
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure smooth functioning
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in accordance with hygiene standards
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment, ideally in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Demonstrated expertise in culinary arts, including menu development and food presentation
Experience in managing food production processes and maintaining high standards of quality
Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service principles
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational skills
