Job Summary
The picturesque Mellington Hall Hotel is seeking an experienced front of house assistant to join our small team, the ideal candidate will have have had previous experience in a similair environment, should be polite, well mannered and very much a people person.

The roll is a hands on position covering lunch, dinner and bar service, occassional breakfast service may also be required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
Waiting on tables for restaurant and bar meals.
Able to take clear, consicie orders from customers.
A willing attitude to provide an efficient level of service.
Prefereably trained to L2 food hygiene but training can be provided.
Bar service experience prefereable (training provided)
Familiar with EPOS tills and PDQ machines (training provided).
Handling cash and card payments.

Experience

Previous experience in a similair environment preferable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Able to cope methodically under pressure
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
