Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and have a solid understanding of restaurant operations. Duties

Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during service and food preparation
Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
Support with basic food preparation tasks when required, adhering to food safety regulations
Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; a genuine passion for guest service is key
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling procedures
Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Basic maths skills for billing and payment processing
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A proactive approach to upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
