We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Cafe Chef to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, and contributing to a positive, efficient kitchen environment. (Day time shifts & weekend work with occasional evenings)

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook café-style dishes to a consistently high standard
Develop and contribute to daily specials and seasonal menus
Ensure all food is prepared and presented in line with company standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation
Minimise waste and control portion sizes
Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a café or similar environment

Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Strong time management and organisational skills

Passion for fresh, high-quality food

Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
