Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated head Barista to join our vibrant team. You must be able to work independent and as a part of a team. You must be organised and punctual. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to engage with customers and deliver exceptional service will contribute to an enjoyable experience for all who visit.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Ensure all food items are prepared according to safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed.
Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring basic maths skills are applied for accurate billing.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as necessary.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
Strong time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
