The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and skilled Butcher to join our butchery team at our Llanystumdwy head office. Working across a full range of red meat, pork, lamb, and poultry, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality cuts and products to meet the demands of our foodservice customers. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes real pride in their craft.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cutting a full range of meat and poultry products to specification, ensuring consistency and quality in every order
Breaking down primal cuts and producing portion-controlled products in line with customer requirements
Operating and maintaining butchery equipment safely and in accordance with health and safety standards
Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and food safety regulations, including temperature monitoring and HACCP procedures
Minimising waste through accurate yield management and efficient use of product
Working accurately to order sheets and production schedules to meet daily fulfilment requirements
Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment at all times

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, chilled environment
