GENERAL MANAGER

Tyglyn Hotel – Ciliau Aeron, Ceredigion

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on General Manager to lead the team at Tyglyn Hotel, a well-established country hotel located in the heart of the beautiful Aeron Valley.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while driving business performance and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all hotel operations including accommodation, food & beverage, events and customer service
Lead, motivate and manage staff across all departments
Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Manage budgets, stock control and financial performance
Develop and implement marketing and business growth strategies
Ensure compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
Build strong relationships within the local community and tourism sector

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality management
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Commercial awareness with the ability to drive revenue and profitability
A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach
Experience managing weddings, events or functions would be advantageous
