Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef at Conwy Golf Club. The Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. They will work closely with the Head Chef to create and execute menus, manage inventory, maintain food safety standards, and ensure a smooth workflow in the kitchen. The Sous Chef will also assist with training and supervising kitchen staff.

Qualifications

Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
Proficient in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays
Passion for food and creativity in menu development
Experience in a golf club or hospitality industry is a plus
