With our own manufacturing facility in Austria, the UK branch is proud to offer our customers a full life cycle of services from design concept, laboratory and pilot plant testing, supply, commissioning, to full aftersales support including spare parts, servicing and refurbishment. We are a leading global supplier of DAF products and offer solutions with the widest range of DAF products available.

We are now looking for a dedicated experienced sales person who meets the following criteria.

Requirements:

- Bachelor or master in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years and above of sales and marketing experience working within the water & wastewater industry, and knowing wastewater treatment, plant and machinery, filtration, dosing systems, and chemical treatment concepts.

- Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in industrial water treatment and a passion for sustainable water management solutions. Strong technical understanding of DAF systems, water treatment processes, and desalination technologies is a plus.

- Experience of working with or at food processing sites, chemical processing sites, and water treatment sites.

- A problem solver who genuinely wants to meet and exceed, where possible, our clients’ requirements, with the ability to handle objections.

- Be capable of overseeing various projects at once.

- Self-motivated and capable of running with projects autonomously, through to completion.

- A strong team ethic and collaboration skills, to ensure the team is kept informed of progress.

- Maintaining a full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points and use of own vehicle for travelling, mileage will be paid.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for sales plans and targets to achieve or exceed revenue targets.

-To collect intelligence on investments and new projects by large enterprises in the UK and other countries.

-To build an agent and distribution network to develop two lines of business:

a. Sales of DAF, CPI, and DAF process systems.

b. Selling the water treatment systems into large enterprises and getting into their vendor lists.

-To support the Group in opening the market in the oil and petrochemical industries.

- Responding to water treatment queries, completing on-site surveys, and providing detailed, tailored quotations.

- Building relationships with both existing and new clients alike to establish their requirements and recommend appropriate product introductions and improvements.

- Networking to establish strong working relationships with potential clients and referrers of work. Attending all courses, events, training, and networking opportunities as required.

- Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.

- Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify sales opportunities.

- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts for management.

Place of Work: Hybrid

Office based in Mold, Flintshire CH7 1NJ and Home Based.

Hours of work

Mon to Thursday 9am-5pm (1 hour for lunch)

Friday 9am-1pm
