We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output
Oversee food production processes, including portion control and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with health and safety regulations
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Lead by example in demonstrating excellent hospitality, serving guests when required
Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive team environment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork and communication
Competence in food production techniques and culinary arts
Experience in restaurant service and hospitality environments is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of food presentation and customer service principles
